Cirarātra (चिररात्र).—a period of many nights, a long time; प्रयाते तु महारण्यं चिररात्राय राघवे (prayāte tu mahāraṇyaṃ cirarātrāya rāghave) Rām.2.4.18; चिररात्राय पित्रेव येनायं परिपालितः (cirarātrāya pitreva yenāyaṃ paripālitaḥ) Śiva. B.15.8. °उषित (uṣita) a. having lodged for a long time.
