傳持 [chuan chi]—(chuán chí)—[Term] To receive the Dharma from others and maintain it within oneself. Fahua Wenju (法華文句 [fa hua wen ju]) Volume 1 says: "To receive and maintain the Tathagata's unimpeded wisdom (如來無礙智慧 [ru lai wu ai zhi hui])." Jieshu (戒疏 [jie shu]) Volume 1, Part 1 says: "Due to the aforementioned receiving and maintaining, the True Dharma (正法 [zheng fa]) flourishes and becomes manifest."
傳持—【術語】從他受法而保持於吾身也。法華文句一曰:「傳持如來無礙智慧。」戒疏一上曰:「由上傳持,正法興顯。」
[shù yǔ] cóng tā shòu fǎ ér bǎo chí yú wú shēn yě. fǎ huá wén jù yī yuē: “chuán chí rú lái wú ài zhì huì.” jiè shū yī shàng yuē: “yóu shàng chuán chí, zhèng fǎ xìng xiǎn.”
