赤棒 [chì bàng] [chi bang]—
One of the ceremonial escorts that preceded high-ranking officials in ancient times. Book of Northern Qi, Volume 12, Biographies of the Twelve Kings of Wu Cheng, Biography of the Prince of Langya Yan: "Sent a eunuch on horseback to rush the ceremonial guard, but was not allowed to enter. He claimed to be acting on imperial orders, and the red staff shattered his saddle upon hearing this, startling the horse and causing the man to fall." Tang Dynasty, Xu Xuan, "Congratulations to Er Sheren Yin You Entering the Hanlin Academy and Jiang Jishi Becoming Vice Minister": "Green silk covers face Penglai late, red staffs clear the road ahead."

翅膀 [chì bǎng] [chi bang]—
The wings of birds and insects. The Scholars (《儒林外史 [ru lin wai shi]》), Chapter 2: "Scattered all over the ground were chicken bones, duck wings (鴨 [ya]), fish bones, and melon seed shells (瓜子殼 [gua zi ke])."
