Chandraketugarh in North 24 Parganas district is an excavated site revealing Kushan presence.—The archaeological excavations at Chandraketugarh has brought to light the evidence of the Kushan occupation of this city. This site of lower Bengal located on 22°41 ' latitude and 88°42" longitude within the jurisdiction of Deganga police station in the north 24 Parganas, about 35 km north-east of Kolkata in present west Bengal.
