chakaḍa (छकड).—f ( H) A slap or smack. v māra. 2 fig. A stroke or blow of misfortune; a loss; a deficit in trade &c. v basa, yē. 3 A stroke of deceit; a piece of knavery played off. v . Ex. vāṇyānēṃ malā vajanānta cha0 dilhī. 4 An urging and harassing for payment. v basa. Ex. sāvakārācī cha0 basalī tēvhāṃ gurēṃ āḍa karūna paikā dyāvā lāgalā.
