Ex. kōṇhācēṃ chadma dāhā jaṇānta kāḍhūṃ nayē. 3 A keen and covert taunt; a sly cut or sting; a sarcasm. Ex. garbhaśrīmanta tyāsa mhaṇatāta mhaṇūna tō khūśa jhālā parantu āntīla chadma tyāsa samajata nāhīṃ. 4 Aim, bearing, all involving point (of a stanza, of an expression). Ex. hyā śrlōkāntīla chadma nighālyāvāñcūna śrlōka cāṅgalā lāga- ṇāra nāhīṃ.
