Source: Pure Bhakti: Arcana-dipika - 3rd EditionCayanamantra (चयनमन्त्र) refers to the “mantra for picking leaves from tulasī”, according to the Arcana-dīpikā (manual on deity worship), while explaining the rules for picking flowers and Tulasī leaves:
oṃ tulasy amṛta-janmāsi sadā tvaṃ keśava-priyā
keśavārthe cinomi tvāṃ varadā bhava śobhane“O Tulasī, you manifested from nectar and you are very dear to Śrī keśava. now I am collecting your leaves for the service of Keśava. O bestower of benedictions, be pleased with me.”
