Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarycāvharī (चाव्हरी).—f The fore taw,--the fore part of the sōla or drag-rope, receiving the second couple of bullocks--the yoke in front of the thillers. Hence cāvharī or cāvharē baila The bullocks composing the second yoke of a team; although applied now to every yoke severally in advance of the thill-yoke or limmers. Hence the compounds sāhabailī cā- vharī, āṭhabailī cāvharī &c., properly sāhabailī, āṭhabailī, dāhābailī, sōḷābailī.
