Caturabhiṣeka (चतुरभिषेक) refers to the Tibetan dbang bskur bzhi which represents the “Four Empowerments” of the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantras (including Mahāyoga). They are: the vase empowerment, the secret empowerment, the empowerment of discriminative pristine cognition, and the empowerment of word and meaning.
