Cāritravatī (चारित्रवती) refers to “being endowed with good conduct”, according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly, as Bodhisattva Gaganagañja explains to Bodhisattva Ratnaśrī what kind of concentration should be purified: “[...] (31) [when the Bodhisattvas attain] the concentration called ‘Like a thunderbolt’, they will understand all dharmas; (32) [when the Bodhisattvas attain] the concentration called ‘Being endowed with good conduct’ (cāritravatī-samādhi), they will know the entrance into the thoughts and deeds of all living beings; (33) [when the Bodhisattvas attain] concentration called ‘Upholding the earth’, there will be no greed or hatred; [...]”.
