Carcāguṇa (चर्चागुण).—Repetition of a word in the पद्पाठ, क्रमपाठ, जटापाठ (padpāṭha, kramapāṭha, jaṭāpāṭha) etc. where the several Pathas appear to be called चर्चा (carcā).In the पदपाठ (padapāṭha) a word in a compound is repeated twice, in the क्रमपाठ (kramapāṭha) every word is repeated twice, in the जटापाठ (jaṭāpāṭha), six times.
