cāñcūṃ (चांचूं).—n (Imit.) A single syllable; a word or sound. Neg. con. and in cases such as the following, tyālā sabhēmadhyēṃ mī cāñcūṃ karūṃ dēṇāra nāhīṃ; ēvaḍhē tēthēṃ basalē hōtē paṇa kōṇhīṃ cāñcūṃ kēlēṃ nāhīṃ.
