Calācaṉam (சலாசனம்) noun < idem. + ā-sana. (Śaiva Philosophy) Pedestals imagined for seating a liṅga when bathing it for worship, six in number, viz., aṉantar, taṉmam, ñāṉam, vairākkiyam, aicuvariyam, patumam; பூசையில் சிவலிங்கம் அமைத்தற்குரிய அனந்தர், தன்மம், ஞானம், வைராக்கியம், ஐசுவரியம், பதுமம் என்ற அறுவகை ஆசனம்.
