cakkara (चक्कर).—n (cakra S) A plaything, --a bandalour. 2 ( H) A ring or circle; a circular road or plot of ground; a rounded off projection of a hill or crag. 3 In the manege. The lounge. 4 n f Vertigo. 5 n The wheel-rut of a lime-mill. 6 A ring before the eyes (from biliousness &c.) 7 A halo. 8 A turn; a round; a trip thither and back; a compass. v ghē. 9 unc A wheel. 10 (Corr. from cakra) The discus of viṣṇu.
