采菽 [cǎi shū] [cai shu]—
The title of a chapter in the "Book of Songs, Lesser Odes" ("詩經 [shi jing].小雅 [xiao ya]"). It consists of five stanzas. According to the "Poetry Preface" ("詩序 [shi xu]"): "Collecting Beans" ("") is to satirize King You ("幽王 [you wang]")." Or, it is believed that the feudal lords were paying tribute to the Son of Heaven (天子 [tian zi]), and the poet composed this to praise them. The first two lines of the first stanza are: "Collecting beans, collecting beans (""), we gather them in baskets and hampers ("筐之筥之 [kuang zhi ju zhi]")."

采菽:《詩經.小雅》的篇名。共五章。根據〈詩序〉:「采菽,刺幽王也。」或以為諸侯朝見天子,詩人作此以頌美之。首章二句為:「采菽采菽,筐之筥之。」

菜蔬 [cài shū] [cai shu]—
1. Vegetables (蔬菜 [shu cai], shū cài).
2. Dishes; cuisine. Example from Water Margin (水滸傳 [shui hu chuan], Shuǐhǔ Zhuàn), Chapter 14: "The two sat down, and the villager laid out fruits, appetizers, vegetables (, cài shū), and dishes (盤饌 [pan zhuan], pán zhuàn)." Example from The Scholars (儒林外史 [ru lin wai shi], Rúlín Wàishǐ), Chapter 37: "At that moment, the cooks butchered a cow and four sheep, and prepared all the dishes (餚饌 [yao zhuan], yáo zhuàn) and vegetables (, cài shū) for the offerings, preparing a total of sixteen tables."

蔡叔 [cài shū] [cai shu]—
Zhou Wu Wang's (周武王 [zhou wu wang]) younger brother, surnamed Ji (姬 [ji]), named Du (度 [du]), was enfeoffed in Cai (蔡 [cai]), hence he was called "Cai Shu." When the Duke of Zhou (周公 [zhou gong]) was regent, Cai Shu and Guan Shu Xian (管叔鮮 [guan shu xian]) suspected him, and colluded with Wu Geng (武庚 [wu geng]) to rebel. The rebellion was quelled by the Duke of Zhou, and Cai Shu was exiled and moved to Guo Lin (郭鄰 [guo lin]), where he later died.

蔡叔:周武王之弟,姓姬名度,封於蔡,故稱為「蔡叔」。周公攝政,蔡叔與管叔鮮疑之,挾武庚以作亂,為周公所平,放之,遷於郭鄰,後卒於遷所。

cài shū: zhōu wǔ wáng zhī dì, xìng jī míng dù, fēng yú cài, gù chēng wèi “cài shū” . zhōu gōng shè zhèng, cài shū yǔ guǎn shū xiān yí zhī, xié wǔ gēng yǐ zuò luàn, wèi zhōu gōng suǒ píng, fàng zhī, qiān yú guō lín, hòu zú yú qiān suǒ.
