caghaḷa (चघळ).—n (In Konkan̤ m) The chewed and trampled portion (of the fodder thrown to a beast). 2 Applied to a fellow ever dinning one thing upon the ears; or to a dull and dawdling fellow: also to speech in the sense of Dry and vapid, or Prolix and prosing: also to laboring or working or any doing, in the sense of Slow, sluggish, languid, heavy: to dull monotony or a dull monotonist gen.
