To make to ascend, mount, climb: also to make to rise, advance, increase, swell &c. 2 To string (a bow). 3 To apply or lay on (a slap, lash, stroke). Ex. dōna tōṇḍāvara caḍhavilyā āṇi kabūla ālā. 4 To put into the mouth (tobacco, bhang &c.) Ex. tambākhūcī gōḷī caḍhavāvī āṇi gāyāsa basāvēṃ. 5 To instigate, incite, stir up. caḍhavūna yēṇēṃ To get up; to fly into a passion.
