cabaḍhaba (चबढब) [or चबडब, cabaḍaba].—a cabaḍhabīta or cabaḍabīta a Troubled, muddled, befouled--water.

Stirring about (water) so as to muddle or befoul it; or slopping about (in it) of any dirty thing. 2 Turning and tossing about (of things); disordering, disarranging: also intermeddling viewed as disturbing. 3 Picking and messing (as of victuals). 4 Busy scheming and speculating; adventuring in all projects to turn the penny; brisk and bustling activity gen. 5 Muddled or befouled state (of water &c.): disordered and littered state (of things): messed state (of victuals): promiscuously mingled state (as of clean and unclean): defeat or disconcertment (of schemes, plans, counsels): disturbance, disorder, and confusion gen.
