buraṭa (बुरट) [or बुरंट, buraṇṭa].—a Close, thick, dense--a brake, thicket, shrubbery. 2 Stunted in growth, stunt. (buraṇṭajhāḍa A scrog.) Hence understood of a cow or buffalo that yields but little milk in the sense Of a low and bad caste. 3 (burā) Mouldy.
