Source: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuBunaulā refers to the seeds of Kārpāsī, possibly identified with Thespesia lampas (Cav.) Dalz. & Gibs. from the Malvaceae or “mallows” family of flowering plants, according to verse 4.188-189 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. Bunaulā is known as galactogaogue [galactagogue?] and increase the milk secretion considerably even in animals. These are also considered aphordisiac.—(cf.
