bucakā (बुचका).—m A mass (as of entangled yarns or filaments or threads, of involved hairs brought away in combing): also a tuft, tussuck, bunch, cluster (as of small plants, new foliage, sprouts).

bucakā (बुचका).—m bucakulī or bucakalī f sometimes bucakī & bucakōlī & bucukalī f The hand inverted with the fingers extended; so as to take up bran, flour, and similar substances. Note. bucakulī is the diminutive of bacaka, and it signifies a grasp of less compass, the fingers being less extended; a grasp with the fingers and the thumb. 2 A quantity brought up by the hand so held. 3 Applied to the fore claw of a cat; to the hand of a little child &c.
