Source: archive.org: Puranic EncyclopediaBṛhadiṣuvaṃśa (बृहदिषुवंश) refers to royal dynasty (vaṃśa) of kings (rājan) descended from the Candravaṃśa (lunar dynasty).—Descended from Bṛhadiṣu were: Bṛhaddhanu—Bṛhatkāya—Jayadratha—Viśada—Senacitta—Rucirāśva. Rucirāśva had three sons: Dṛḍhahanu—Kāśya and Vatsa.
The Purana (पुराण, purāṇas) refers to Sanskrit literature preserving ancient India’s vast cultural history, including historical legends, religious ceremonies, various arts and sciences.
