bōṭadharaṇī māpa (बोटधरणी माप).—n Measurement of grain &c. whilst holding horizontally one finger of the left hand above the edge of the measure. This excess is a hakk or due, under certain terms of dealing, of the purchaser, as also is that arising from hāta- dharaṇī q. v.; and both modes of measurement are contrad. from rāstī.
