bōlaṇēṃ (बोलणें).—v i (brū S) To speak, to utter articulate sounds. 2 To talk. 3 To sound--an instrument of music &c.; to emit sound gen. bōlaṇēṃ bhājīpālā g. of s. Used of the speech of a vain and vapid talker. bōlūna ghēṇēṃ To bring (abusive, angry, hard) words upon one's self; to get said to one. Ex. myāṃ adyāpa kadhīṃ kōṇhācēṃ uṇēṃ uttara bōlūna ghētalēṃ nāhīṃ; aparādhāvāñcūna mī kāṃ tujhēṃ bōlūna ghēūṃ? bōlūna sughaḍa-bhalā-cāṅgalā-gōḍa-madhura Fairspoken. uttara bōlaṇēṃ To make answer. Ex. krōdhēṃ tukayāsī bōlē uttara || kaisēṃ buḍavilēṃ mājhēṃ ghara ||.
