What are those eight? To wit, [...] (7) no burning [passions] for the sake of the purification of afflictions; (8) fulfilling aspirations in order to purify awakening (bodhipariśuddhi)’. Son of good family, these eight purify the morality of the Bodhisattvas”.”.
