Bodeyapalle is an archaeologically important site situated in Tadpatri-taluk (Anantapur district, Madras), known for inscriptions regarding the ancient history of India. For example, at Bodeyapalle there is a pillar in front of the Chennakeśava temple which States that Malidevarāju, son of Sarasvati Tirumalarāju, acting on behalf of the twenty-four families of the Vipra vinodin community, granted to god Chennakeśvara, the dommari-chenu situated in Peñchukaladinni-agrahāra.

This inscriptions belongs is dated Śaka 1436 (1514 A.D., December 13).
