Ex. lagna tara udyāvara bitalēṃ āṇi sāhitya tōṃ jhālēṃ nāhīṃ. 2 To fall upon or unto--as a calamity, a danger, a duty. Ex. tō prāṇāvara bitalēṃ tarīṃ khōṭēṃ bōlaṇāra nāhīṃ. Also to occur or happen--a time or an event, esp. an evil one. 3 To begin; to be entered upon--a fight or quarrel. 4 To enter into (the mind or feelings). Ex.gurūcā upadēśa hyā śiṣyācyā manānta bitatō. 5 A term in games of marbles and cowries.
