Biodegradable Products to one of the modern applications which could benefit from the principles of ancient Indian agriculture, which presents a safe technology and methodology regarding organic agriculture and plant mutagenesis (druma-vichitrikaranam), according to treatises (such as the Vrikshayurveda).—Speciality products include biodegradable products such as paper, speciality fibres, adhesives, boards, etc. These would be cellulose and starch based products. It remains to be seen if this could be achieved through drumavichitrikaranam.

Āyurveda (आयुर्वेद, ayurveda) is a branch of Indian science dealing with medicine, herbalism, taxology, anatomy, surgery, alchemy and related topics. Traditional practice of Āyurveda in ancient India dates back to at least the first millenium BC. Literature is commonly written in Sanskrit using various poetic metres.
