Source: Brill: Śaivism and the Tantric Traditions (yoga)Bindupāta (बिन्दुपात) refers to the “fall of bindu”, according to the Amṛtasiddhi, a 12th-century text belonging to the Haṭhayoga textual tradition.—Accordingly, “The fall of bindu (bindupāta) makes men grow old [and] die”.
