Bijervatukuli or Bidervatukuliya is the name of an ancient locality that existed in the Polonnaruva (Polonnaruwa) district of Ceylon (Sri Lanka).—[... also see Tissavaḍḍhamānaka...] Codrington has correctly equated Tissavaḍḍhamānaka tank with Rantisā tank, the present, breached Kavuḍulla-vava, 6 miles north of Miṇṇeriya. The Rantisā sub-district was the area around Kavuḍulla and Madigiriya: it was part of a larger division known as Bidervatukuliya (Bijervatu-kuli in the Sīgiri Graffiti) which extended over the greater part of the northern half of Siṅhala Pattuva.
