Bhuvanapaścima (भुवनपश्चिम) refers to “the world behind (Meru)”, according to the second recension of the Yogakhaṇḍa of the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, as Śrīnātha (i.e., Bhairava) said to the Goddess: “Accompanied by millions of Yoginīs and surrounded by the seven Mothers, along with Siddhas and Yoginīs, (you are) constantly engaged in worship. You have entered the cave-dwelling that is in the world behind (bhuvanapaścima) Meru. You are worshipped by the gods and demons in the middle of the peaks of the mountain (śilā) (of the Triangle) with divine gems, flowers, camphor, musk and vermilion”.
