Bhujaṅganagara (भुजङ्गनगर) is another name for Nagaur: the chief town of the District of the same name, situated in Jodhpur Division.—Nagaur was known by various name such as Nāgapura, Nagapattana, Ahipura and Bhujaṅga-nagara. From the literary sources, it is known as a great centre of Jainism.
