bhōvaṇēṃ (भोवणें) [or भोंवणें, bhōṃvaṇēṃ].—v i (bhramaṇa S) To turn round; to have a circular motion. 2 To be vertiginous or dizzy, to swim--head, eyes. Used also inversely; as malā divasabhara bhōvatēṃ. 3 fig. To hover over or around afflicting or troubling; to beset and harass, worry and plague--an evil, a crime or sin. Used freely. Ex. tī cōradhāḍa varakaḍāṃsa sōḍūna tyā garibāṃsa bhōvalī; putrānēṃ kēlēṃ tēṃ bāpāsa bhōvalēṃ; kāla dahīṃ khāllēṃ tēṃ malā bhōvalēṃ; sarvānnīṃ vyavahāra kēlā paṇa majabhōvatāṃ mātra bhōvalā. 4 To hover or hang about.
