Vaishnavism (Vaishava dharma)
Source: Pure Bhakti: Arcana-dipika - 3rd EditionBhāvasevā (भावसेवा) refers to “performing worship endowed with ecstatic emotions”, according to the Arcana-dīpikā (manual on deity worship).—The highest level of devotees, or premī-bhaktas, who have developed great love for Śrī Bhagavān, are beyond the rules and regulations of varṇāśrama. Being immersed in a mood of intense devotion, they perform worship endowed with ecstatic emotions (bhāva-sevā), with easily attainable ingredients. On the other hand, wealthy householder devotees should according to their capacity worship the deity with the best ingredients and celebrate various devotional festivals.
Vaishnava (वैष्णव, vaiṣṇava) or vaishnavism (vaiṣṇavism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshipping Vishnu as the supreme Lord. Similar to the Shaktism and Shaivism traditions, Vaishnavism also developed as an individual movement, famous for its exposition of the dashavatara (‘ten avatars of Vishnu’).
