Source: Shodhganga: The significance of the mūla-beras (śilpa)Bhavāni Ambāl is the name of a deity depicted at the Nellaiappar Temple at Tirunelveli, representing a sacred place for the worship of Śiva.—Bhavāni Ambāl is portrayed with two hands. The right hand holds the flower in kaṭaka/kapittha-hasta and the left hand is in dolā-hasta. She is represented in standing posture.
