bhaḷanda (भळंद) [or भळंदें, bhaḷandēṃ].—n A shard or half-pitcher in which rags and oil are put and kindled. v ghāla. See at large under bhadēṃ. bhaḷandyācā gōndhaḷa ghālaṇēṃ or karaṇēṃ To dance about wildly, holding this pitcher on the head or hand. Also bhaḷandācā gōndhaḷa ghālaṇēṃ &c. Also bhaḷandēṃ ghēṇēṃ.
