Bhādrapadaśuklakrṭya (भाद्रपदशुक्लक्र्ट्य) is the name of a festival that once existed in ancient Kashmir (Kaśmīra) as mentioned in the Nīlamatapurāṇa. Bhādrapadaśuklakrṭya proceeds as follows: On each day of the bright half of Bhādrapada, Mahendra is to be worshipped along with his wife Śacī, gaṇas, weapons and mount. The king should worship him in the way suggested by an astrologer. On the bright fifth of this fortnight, Nīla and the local Nāga are to be worshipped.
