bāśiṅgabaḷa (बाशिंगबळ).—n (The power or influence of the bāśiṅga) A jocose or fanciful term for one's luck or destiny considered as auspicious and as bringing about one's marriage. Ex. amakyācēṃ bā0 ubhēṃ rāhi- lēṃsēṃ vāṭatēṃ tyācēṃ lagna hōṇāra.
