寶樓觀 [bao lou guan]—(Contemplation of Treasure Buildings) — [Term] The sixth of the Sixteen Contemplations (十六觀法 [shi liu guan fa]) taught in the Contemplation Sūtra (觀經 [guan jing]). It involves contemplating the appearance of the treasure buildings (寶樓 [bao lou]) and jeweled pavilions (珠閣 [zhu ge]) in the Land of Utmost Bliss (極樂 [ji le]). The Sūtra says: "In the Land of All Treasures (眾寶國土 [zhong bao guo tu]), on each and every boundary, there are five hundred billion treasure buildings (寶樓閣 [bao lou ge]). Within these buildings, there are countless devas (諸天 [zhu tian]) performing celestial music and dances (天伎樂 [tian ji le])."

寶樓觀—【術語】觀經所說十六觀法中第六,觀極樂寶樓珠閣之相也。經曰:「眾寶國土一一界上有五百億寶樓閣,其樓閣中有無量諸天,作天伎樂。」

[shù yǔ] guān jīng suǒ shuō shí liù guān fǎ zhōng dì liù, guān jí lè bǎo lóu zhū gé zhī xiāng yě. jīng yuē: “zhòng bǎo guó tǔ yī yī jiè shàng yǒu wǔ bǎi yì bǎo lóu gé, qí lóu gé zhōng yǒu wú liàng zhū tiān, zuò tiān jì lè.”

[shu yu] guan jing suo shuo shi liu guan fa zhong di liu, guan ji le bao lou zhu ge zhi xiang ye. jing yue: "zhong bao guo tu yi yi jie shang you wu bai yi bao lou ge, qi lou ge zhong you wu liang zhu tian, zuo tian ji le."
