2) 般舟 [ban zhou]—pratyutpannasamādhi, the samadhi in which the Buddhas of the ten directions are seen as clearly as the stars at night. Also called 常行道 [chang xing dao] or 常行三昧 [chang xing san mei] the prolonged samadhi, because of the length of time required, either seven or ninety days. Its sutra is the 般舟三昧經 [ban zhou san mei jing].
