Source: Cologne Digital Sanskrit Dictionaries: Aufrecht Catalogus Catalogorum1) Ballālasenadeva (बल्लालसेनदेव) as mentioned in Aufrecht’s Catalogus Catalogorum:—son of Vijayasena, grandson of Hemantasena, king of Bengal, is believed to be the author of: Adbhutasāgara. Dānasāgara, composed in 1097. Some verses of his are given in Śp. p. 50. [Sūktikarṇāmṛta by Śrīdharadāsa]
2) Ballālasenadeva (बल्लालसेनदेव):—composed the Dānasāgara in 1169. He wrote besides an Ācārasāgara and Pratiṣṭhāsāgara.
3) Ballālasenadeva (बल्लालसेनदेव):—son of Vijayasena, grandson of Hemantasena, composed the Adbhutasāgara in 1167, the Dānasāgara in 1169.
