Source: archive.org: Yoga Tradition of the Mysore PalaceBālāliṅgāsana (बालालिङ्गासन) is a type of posture (āsana), according to verse 97 of the Śrītattvanidhi.—Accordingly, “Embrace one knee on the chest. This is the child embracer, bālāliṅgāsana”.
The 19th-century Śrītattvanidhi is a sanskrit treatise describing 80 primary āsanas, or ‘posture’ and several additional ones (e.g., bāla-āliṅga-āsana).
