1) Badana (बदन) [Also spelled badan]:—(nm) the body, physical frame; (nf) bet, betting; —[jalanā] to be in high fever, to be running high temperature; —[ṭūṭanā] the joints of the body to be aching/strained; —[ḍhīlā karanā] physical strain to be soothed; —[duharā honā] the body to be completely bent; —[badakara] with a bet, deliberately; [badanā] to bet, to wager; —[meṃ āga laganā] to be infuriated, to fret and fume; —[sanasanānā] (the body) to be in a state of tension; to be overwhelmingly excited; —[sāṃce meṃ ḍhalā honā] every part of the body to be symmetrically proportionate, to be cast in a pretty mould; —[sūkhakara kāṃṭā honā] to be too attenuated, to grow very lean and thin, to be emaciated; —[harā honā] to be refreshed.
