Āyatapārṣṇi (आयतपार्ष्णि) or Āyatapārṣṇitā refers to “heels that are long and deep” and represents the seventh of the “thirty-two marks of a great man” (lakṣaṇa) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., āyata-pārṣṇi). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
