1) Non-restraint; having no restraint; विधर्मणायन्त्रैरीयते नृन् (vidharmaṇāyantrairīyate nṛn) Ṛgveda 1.46.6.
2) A powerful weapon for restraining enemies. नायन्त्रितस्त्रिवेदोऽपि सर्वाशी सर्व- विक्रयी (nāyantritastrivedo'pi sarvāśī sarva- vikrayī) Manusmṛti 2.118.
