Aviśeṣakalākarṇa (अविशेषकलाकर्ण).—The distance (lit., hypotenuse) of a planet measured in minutes and obtained by the method of successive approximations. Note: Aviśeṣakalā-karṇa is a Sanskrit technical term used in ancient Indian sciences such as Astronomy, Mathematics and Geometry.
