Source: Wisdom Library: Dharma-samgrahaAvakragāmi (अवक्रगामि) or Avakragāmitā refers to “straight limbs” and represents the seventeenth of the “eighty secondary characteristics” (anuvyañjana) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., avakra-gāmi). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
Source: academia.edu: A Prayer for Rebirth in the SukhāvatīAvakragāmī (अवक्रगामी) refers to “steady gait” and represents the seventeenth of the eighty minor marks of distinction (anuvyañjana) mentioned in the Sukhāvatī and following the order of the Mahāvyutpatti (269-348). In Tibetan, the characteristic called Avakragāmī is known as ‘mi g.yo bar gshegs pa’. The Sukhāvatī represents a prayer for rebirth which was composed by Karma chags med, a Karma bka’ brgyud master, who lived in the seventeenth century.
