I, 85: ekekāya pantiyā aṭṭha aṭṭha padāni assā ti), cp. dasapada D. I, 6.—2. eightfold, folded or plaited in eight, cross-plaited (of hair) Th. 1, 772 (aṭṭhāpada-katā kesā); J. II, 5 (°ṭṭhapana = cross-plaiting).
