Āttagandha (आत्तगन्ध).—a.

1) having one's pride humbled, attacked, insulted, defeated; पक्षच्छिदा गोत्रभिदात्तगन्धाः (pakṣacchidā gotrabhidāttagandhāḥ) R.13.7; केनात्तगन्धो माणवकः (kenāttagandho māṇavakaḥ) Ś.6.

2) already smelt (as a flower); आत्तगन्धमवधूय शत्रुभिः (āttagandhamavadhūya śatrubhiḥ) Śiśupālavadha 14.84 (where ā° has sense
