Asyavāmīya (अस्यवामीय).—[asyavāmiti śabdo'styatra sūkte matvarthe cha P.V. 2.59 Vār.1] The hymn beginning with the words अस्य वाम् (asya vām) (Ṛgveda 1.164). cf. also सकृज्जप्त्वास्यवामीयं शिवसंकल्पमेव च (sakṛjjaptvāsyavāmīyaṃ śivasaṃkalpameva ca) Manusmṛti 11.25.
